For our rooftop bar shoot in Miami, I included TEXTURE, JUXTAPOSITION, BLING, POP OF COLOR & A FAB BAG in my hip South Beach street style.

I chose the smoothness of leather jacket with gold hardware buckles as a contrast to the TEXTURE  of lace.

For JUXTAPOSITION, I wore a lace playsuit made of soft and pure lace paired with a contrasting leather motorcycle jacket. The quilting and chain of the hat were the perfect coupled with to the quilting and chin of the Chanel bag.

My BLING was in the form of Cartier love bracelets, a Tiffany ring, Link necklace & bracelet and Chanel cuff.

My POP OF COLOR was the contrast of black, to white to gold.
For my non traditional style, I chose the traditional Chanel flap as my FAB BAG.

Where to Eat with the Pretty People in Miami AND have an Amazing Meal

The Bazaar by Jose Andres
According to Zagat, “Avant-garde” tapas served with “hip, clever style” from “genius” chef José Andrés are “not only a theatrical show, but delicious” to boot at this “trendy” Spanish-Eclectic resto-lounge at the “stylish” SLS Hotel South Beach that comes off as a “library in Liberace’s mansion”; “knowledgeable” servers are “helpful” guides to the “unusual menu”, and enthusiasts say the “unbelievable culinary experience” is “well worth the over-the-top expense.”

Joes Stone Crab
According to Zagat, ” Devotees give two “claws up” to this century-old South Beach “institution” – ranked Miami‘s Most Popular eatery – for the “magnificent” “sweetness” of its “heavenly” stone crabs (the rest of the menu is “delightful” too, particularly the fried chicken and “divine” Key lime pie) served in a “huge”, “crowded” setting, where “tuxedoed” servers are “constantly on watch”; insiders say “get there early” to avoid “crazy long lines” (or pop into the next-door take-out cafe instead) and prepare for a “very expensive” tab that’s “worth every penny”; P.S. closed seasonally from late summer till mid-October.”

Prime 112
According to Zagat, “Expect to wait”, even with reservations, at this “buzzy” South Beach “gem” of a steakhouse that earns raves for its “excellent cuts” of meat “perfectly cooked”; “part of the ambiance” is watching the “beautiful people”, including occasional celebrities, in the handsome, brick-laid interior before dropping “just-hit-the-Lotto” loads of cash.”

Casa Tua Restaurant
According to Zagat, ” This “chic”, “very romantic” “little oasis” in a SoBe boutique inn is where “beautiful people” gather (especially “outside in the garden” set aglow by lanterns) for “outstanding” Northern Italian fare away from the crowds; those in the know say “reserve way in advance” for the “costly” “culinary experience” that is “worth every penny.”

Cecconi’s Miami Beach at Soho Beach House
According to Open Table, Situated in the Ground Floor Courtyard, Cecconi’s Miami Beach is a modern day classic Italian restaurant. Originating in Venice and with outposts in London and West Hollywood, Cecconi’s has become a critically acclaimed dining destination featuring simply prepared Venetian inspired food.
The restaurant design includes antique nile green stripped tile floors, graceful garden dining with Silver Buttonwood trees and a retractable awning for indoor/outdoor elegant and relaxed dining experience.

Los Fuegos – Faena Hotel Miami Beach
According to the Miami Tribune, Faena was quoted as saying, Miami was always about fantasy. We are trying to bring back that glorious moment of fantasy and glamor, but to create it in a modern way.
Both Living Room and the Veranda dining room are lit by Storms, site-specific chandeliers by Alberto Garutti that flicker every time lightning strikes the Argentine pampas. In the garden is a nine-foot gilded skeleton of the extinct woolly mammoth encased in a steel-and-glass vitrine.”
This is one of the most exceptional dining experiences I have ever experienced.

Matador Room
Jean-Georges Vongerichten brings Latin cuisine to this handsome eatery in Ian Schrager’s Miami Beach EDITION Hotel, drawing on Spanish, Caribbean and South American flavors for his seasonal menu of small and large plates matched with classic cocktails; the oval dining room gives a nod to the property’s past (formerly the Seville Hotel), while the bar overlooking the pool deck features Lucien Clerque’s Matador series of photos on black walnut-clad walls.
