Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Vintage Contessa & Times Past, we specialize in high-value items that require the highest level of security and discretion. To ensure your purchase arrives safely, we have established a rigorous shipping protocol designed to minimize risk and provide total peace of mind.

1. Shipping Methods & Speed

To reduce the time an item spends in transit, we exclusively use expedited services. We do not offer ground shipping.
  • FedEx Priority Overnight or 2nd Day Air: All orders are shipped via these premium services to ensure rapid, trackable delivery.

  • Domestic Shipping Only: We currently only ship within the United States. We do not ship to Canada, Mexico, or other international destinations.


2. Shipping Rates & Full-Value Insurance

Every shipment is fully insured for its total value during transit. This insurance is included in our flat-rate shipping fees:
  • Orders up to $25,000: $60.00 Flat Rate

  • Orders $25,001 – $50,000: $110.00 Flat Rate

  • Non-Standard or Oversized Items: For items that exceed standard shipping dimensions or require specialized freight handling (e.g., oversized equipment, fine art, or furniture), flat rates do not apply. Shipping for these items will be calculated and billed separately based on size, weight, and white-glove requirements.


3. Security & Handling Protocols

  • Adult Signature Required: For your protection, an adult signature (18+) is strictly required for all deliveries. Packages will not be left at doorsteps or with neighbors.

  • Physical Addresses Only: We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or unstaffed drop-off points. A physical residential or business address must be provided at checkout.

  • Discreet Packaging: Most items are shipped in standard, unbranded FedEx packaging. There is no external indication of the package's contents or value to ensure maximum discretion.

  • The "No-Friday" Rule: To prevent high-value items from sitting in a courier warehouse over a weekend, we do not ship orders on Fridays. Orders placed late Thursday through Sunday will be processed for shipment the following Monday.


4. Returns & Final Sale Policy

Due to the high-value nature of our inventory:
  • All Sales Are Final: We do not accept returns or exchanges.

  • Special Exceptions: In the rare event that a return is authorized by management, the client is responsible for all costs associated with insured, expedited return shipping. The item must remain in its original condition.


5. Taxes

Applicable state and local taxes will be calculated and added at checkout based on the shipping destination.
