Lights Camera Action | Fashion Houston 2012 Kick off with Jerri Moore Trunk Show
It’s showtime with Fashion Houston starting Monday November 12-15, 2012 at the Wortham Center and so festivities to kick off the celebration started with a ladies only party showcasing local designer Jerri Moore‘s impressive styles.
The evening was an intimate affair of fashion, shopping, cocktails and light bites with the designer Jerri Moore, as Audi West Houston salutes her upcoming show at Fashion Houston. Prime host Diane Caplan was on her toes looking very chic in a Jerri Moore signature green dress. Caplan was very excited for this year’s Fashion Houston and to help promote the local designers. She told Lights Camera Action that Fashion Houston was an excellent opportunity for Houstonians to get a chance to meet talented designers and enjoy four days of great fashionable nights.
Moore’s designs represent old classic Hollywood style with much glamor, allure yet simple and sophisticated. Her dresses and fabrics most certainly reminded me of the Audrey Hepburn era. At the trunk show event she showcased some of her vibrant evening gowns, cocktail dresses, long and short jackets. Houston is now eagerly waiting to see her work at the Fashion Houston 2012.
Supporting the shopping extravaganza and the designer were: Tracy Orolin, Reyne Hirsch, Donae Cangelosi Chramosta (The Vintage Contessa fame), Liz Loucks, Lolly Cheeseman Erwin, Camille Patton, Carolyn Crosswell, Dorine Craig, Liz Decker, Katie Decker (Katie Decker Jewelry), Beth Muecke and the style guy Edward Sanchez.
