We are a trusted, authentic luxury friend in the business. We spent the summer scouring the globe, buying fashionable, modern, unique pieces from and to socially conscious, savvy women and men.
While in Rome shopping for exceptional pieces for our discriminating customers, we also renewed our wedding vows in a Chapel in the basement of St. Peter’s Basilica.Scouring the Globe for Unusual Finds in Italy
This summer we escaped the heat in Houston traveling to Colorado to support the @vaildancefest of the @vvfoundation. Whether going to events, traveling or staying home, you will feel fashionable, savvy, classic yet modern wearing pieces hand selected and purchased by @thevintagecontessa.
In August, we launched Styling Social Justice Podcast: Glamour that’s global. Joining forces with my partner in solving crime, @RaniaMankarious and I are two fierce women with a love of faith, family, community and fashion as big as Texas! Based in Houston, each week we host local and national personalities for conversations centered around current events, social injustice, safety and health. We discuss real solutions to these problems in hopes to create safer, happier and healthier communities.
In September Styling Social Justice and @thevintagecontessa along with Caroline Knapp & Hunter Bell co-hosted our inaugural event with real conversation changing our communities. As Shelby Hodge with Paper City wrote, “Sex Trafficking and Socialites, at the Women Who Shape Houston Luncheon, Two Worlds Collide — and Women of Fashion Vow to Help.”Through our travels and experiences, we create a new kind of experience for today’s discerning client. The New York City Ballet Gala was one of the most magical nights of our lives, from the pageantry of the costuming of the dancers to the people watching of fellow attendees, we left forever changed and inspired.
We raised record funds for our community at the Crime Stoppers of Houston Gala Photographer here with four of our podcast guests: Joanna Coles, Joanne King Herring, Jennifer Reyna and Jerri Duddlesten Moore. Go to Styling Social Justice to listen to our podcasts as we discuss real solutions to problems in the hope of creating safer, happier and healthier communities.
