Culture Map | The ultimate showcase home: An inside look at the $1 million art townhouse

Desperate to find some home inspiration this weekend? Look no further than Tanglewood, where the Nantucket Showcase Home will be open for its final weekend run.

The 5,000-square-foot townhome was designed by Monsour Taghdisi of Prestige Builders and decorated with the eclectic touch of Lucinda Loya, who partnered with gallerists Barbara Davis, Hiram Butler and Robert McClain, plus local vendors Carol Piper Rugs, the Vintage Contessa, Arena Design and more, to create a home that exudes luxury and contemporary class.

As CultureMap’s Shelby Hodge reported, there is almost $1 million worth of art in the home.

The Nantucket Showcase Home will be open on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $20, and proceeds benefit the Art Institute of Houston. For a closer look, click through the photos in the gallery on top of this story.
